Warm Avocado Honey Face Mask
My skin craves moisture! Like... eats it up. Not only is my skin extremely dry, but I suffer from psoriasis and have for years. After endless dermatologist visits, and a severe allergic reaction, I decided to go all natural and toss all of the prescriptions and over-the-counter creams. It was the best decision I ever made! I now create all of my body remedies in my kitchen, from scratch - from body wash to oils to sugar scrubs to face masks, like this amazing one I dish below.

I create this simple Warm Avocado Honey Face Mask to give my face some weekly TLC. The mask is perfect for relaxing in the bath, or applying and rinsing after a warm shower. It hydrates my skin, makes it super soft and gives it this amazing glow. I use it twice weekly on clean skin after exfoliating with my Brown Sugar Scrub :)
- 1/2 Avocado
- 2 tablespoons raw honey (warmed)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- a couple of drops of argan or rosehip oil (optional)
Warm raw honey in a small bowl for 30 seconds. Add in avocado and evoo. Smash using a fork until the avocado is finely mashed. Apply on face using fingertips and let sit for 20 minutes (avoid eyes, of course). Gently rinse with lukewarm water and pat face dry. Follow with an oil or moisturizer to seal in extra moisture. For best results, apply twice/weekly.
